Review from a regular I am a regular visitor to Biloxi due to business in the area. Hard Rock is 1 of 2 that I usually stay at. They are more expensive but it is a nicer feel also. The staff is generally pretty friendly. Rooms are always clean and have cool designs, but some areas are showing age.
Beds are comfortable and bathrooms are clean. Having good food inside the resort is a big plus. My main issue is table limits, especially during off times. They should make it easier for the casual player during the day and more serious at night. Bar prices are pretty ridiculous. Date of stay: February Trip type: Traveled on business. Thank you for that fantastic review. I'm glad to see you enjoyed your visit with us, and I am thrilled to hear you were able to have such a great time. I am glad to hear you enjoyed our atmosphere during these times.
I will be sure to sure your feedback with Table Games in regards to table limits and bets. Thank you for your recent stay, and we hope to see you back again soon! The first bad experience was a few years ago when the people in the room next to me began fighting and breaking all of the glass in the room. The hotel did nothing about it after several calls. Last night at 1am the room next to me decided to begin playing music as loud as they could get it.
I called down to the front desk and was told that it would get taken care of but it never did. The walls are paper thin and we got zero sleep the entire night thanks to loud music and no assistance from the front desk. Date of stay: January Trip type: Traveled with family. Thank you for taking the time to share your review with us.
We appreciate your valuable feedback as it helps us identify the areas we can improve the guest experience. I was disappointed to learn of the shortcomings you experienced and we are currently taking steps to upgrade some of the facilities. SunnyP wrote a review Nov Not what we were expecting. Room was so so. I booked a smoking room only because it was what was left with a view. The view was NOT a view. It was a window facing the Beau Rivage and then if you turned your head you could make out part of the beach.
The room smelled terrible from previous smokers. I guess that is what I get for booking a smoking room, but I would have thought there would have been a better smell than what hit us when we first opened the door. There were multiple burns in the carpet from previous smoking guests. The size of the room was ok, but I've paid less for a more updated, larger room.
When you enter the room, they have the tv blaring with music. Ok, no big deal. We just turned it down. However, they do this in every room. So, the room next to us you could hear the music blaring as well. We called down to ask them to have the guest or someone at the hotel enter the room to turn it down. They said they would send maintenance Then the guest arrived. At 1am, they started a moving that was blaring as well. The walls are clearly thin as you can hear everything your neighbor is doing.
The casino did have safety measures in place for Covid. Lots of hand sanitizer machines and a guard to make sure anyone entering the casino had a mask. If not, they provided one. Food at the Hard Rock was sub par and very expensive for what you get. But, I thought it would be more of a gourmet grilled cheese with lots and lots of cheese. Nope, one slice of cheese on toasted white bread.
Yeah, not worth the money to say the least. We also ate at Hard Rock Cafe. Some restaurants were closed like Ruth's Chris, the buffet due to Covid and then the Robobar. So, not a lot to choose from in terms of eating at the hotel. Food was ok, nothing to brag about.
We actually ended up eating dinner at a place called MugShots which was away from the strip. Not too far from the Hard Rock. Their prices were reasonable and way more food than what you would get at the casino. At one point, we stopped at the Dunkin Donuts at the hotel only to be told that they didn't serve food Employee wasn't very friendly either. The casino itself was clean. However, way smaller than the one in Tampa. The table minimums were crazy high. We only played a few slots and then did the rest of our gambling at Boomtown.
I won't likely stay here again simply because we just didn't spend that much time in the hotel and the prices were not justifiable for the food. Date of stay: November Value. Thank you for your review. I am sorry to hear you had such a frustrating experience, but I really appreciate you bringing this issue to my attention. We set a high standard for ourselves to deliver amplified service and I am sorry to hear this was not met in your interaction with our business. We will use the feedback to make us better and to ensure this doesn't happen again.
If you happen to travel back to the Gulf Coast again, I do hope you would consider giving the Hard Rock a chance for an encore performance. The dings and nicks and scrapes on every piece of furniture tells a tale of a much used room. Not bad, but not the dream room promised.
Unless six bottles of body lotion and one oz of shower gel is considered a solution. There was a Bluetooth speaker set to the wrong time and date, and neither of the proud users of new technology in the room could figure the thing out. An Ethernet cable, of all things!
God knows what else was in there. A few wet naps were provided to save our lives. Slots were fun but stingy. Nice machines, and clean. But we walked next door and had more fun. Too many noses showing. Poor drink service, as in Chase The Waitress, the hardest game in the casino. Property damage from storms was expected and not too bad. Staff was friendly and fun. Hard Rock Cafe was reliably delicious. Not likely to revisit, with similar casinos in nearby Lake Charles.
Thank you for your recent visit. I am sorry to hear about the issues you experienced during your stay. I do hope you were able to enjoy your stay despite these issues, and I do hope to see you back again so we can show you a true Hard Rock quality experience. It opened in The resort was constructed in and originally scheduled to open on September 1 of that year. Reconstruction and reopening of the property was in limbo for a time because of a legal dispute between owner Premier Entertainment and the trustee for bondholders on the property.
Premier later began architectural work on a newly rebuilt facility, awaiting resolution of the dispute, prior to workers securing the property for the Atlantic hurricane season. Rebuilding of the facility was completed, and the casino opened to the public on June 30, The newly restored facility is built on "more storm resistant" cement pilings rather than the former floating barge as originally mandated by Mississippi law, and features seven restaurants, including a Hard Rock Cafe , Ruth's Chris Steak House , Half Shell Oysters House, close to hotel rooms and suites, a full service spa, a nightclub, over slot machines, 56 table games, outdoor beach themed pool with cabanas and swim-up bar, and a Hard Rock Live performance arena.
