Experience is no longer like it used to be. My wife and i are both rated players, haven't been able to win anything worth while since Boyd took over. Overall atmosphere not the same. Rarely see new machines. On Fridays and Saturdays in the evening it's like a ghost town. Many regulars gone along with VIP hosts. The bands in Stadium have been of a lesser quality for the most part. Menu change with some things no longer made from scratch.
New wait staff. Would never pay for it!!! Overall take your gambling money somewhere else for a more enjoyable time!! Paul H wrote a review Oct Cincinnati, Ohio contributions 53 helpful votes. Buffet seemed better this time. Went to the buffet at Belterra Park and it seemed better that in previous visits.
Food was very good with a nice selection of items. Went for lunch and breakfast was still available. Most of the food was warm. Plenty of desserts available. Serve was wonderful and very attentive. Stayed and played the slots.
Slots still seem tight but managed a few bonus games. Very nice time and will re-visit. Date of experience: October Thank you, Paul, for your feedback and your review. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your recent visit with us, specifically your meal at Market Buffet and our higher standards of guest service.

Really hard to win any major jackpots. Security is rude, have met better in slum area casino's. If you need help from a floor person, good luck with that.
They have stations to get free drinks, the coffee is usually out. There is no place to cash your daily comps. Using the word FREE very loosely. Hope this helps …. Staff here are exceedingly rude. Lawless was a particularly rude individual. The gaming options are limited to only very tight slot machines and horse racing. The drinks here are more expensive than other places and the atmosphere is not good imo. Locally , Jack and Hollywood are much better options.
All in all, I would recommend any of the other casinos in the area over this one. It is the least popular of the 3 closest to downtown for good reason. Worst payouts, worst staff, and most limited in game types. Riverbend , cheap buffers for seniors, and bored husbands at coney are the only thing that keep this place open.
The go-to tactic is to break as quickly from the gate as possible and get into a good race position, something even more crucial for those given an outside post position. The turf track sits inside the dirt track and is even tighter at just seven furlongs in length. Again left-handed and flat, the turf course at Belterra is often quick but will suit those coming from off the pace just a little more than the dirt track, although once again a quick break from an inside gate is still considered a major advantage so look out for those drawn in low numbers.
The turf course becomes particularly well used for major stakes races in the summer, with by far the most popular distance being the one mile and half-a-furlong trip, so check out the stats for that in terms of sectional times, draw etc to see what works best at Belterra. The yearly race meet at Belterra Park runs from the end of April to the end of September on Labor Day weekend with most racing of just an average standard, however, there is a good stakes schedule at the track featuring the following events:.
